I invite healthcare professionals to open debate around the issues raised in my poster, both those relating to research and to clinical practice.

It is interesting that the introduction of KDIGO recommendations didnt alter the cilical practice in this regard. This corresponds to the starting point of our poster (Sunday, 572: How to assess CKD-MBD in dialysis patients, a new look at on old parameter) in which we argue for a regionalization of therapy targets within the rather wide ranges of KDIGO guideline recommendations - an easy and inexpensive way to do this is the correlation of serum alkaline phosphatase levels with age: As we know, serum alkaline phosphatase is correlated with age in healthy adult populations (>2" years of age). If such a correlation with age is preserved in any given population of dialysis patients, this obviously means that CKD-MBD management in these patients is successful. On the other hand, if the correlation is lost, one can identify the outliers and remove them one by one until the correlation is established again: these outliers are the patients at risk in the population, they will need a closer look in terms of CKD-MBD management.
